PhD in Physical properties in black soldier fly larvae processing

The ETH Zurich Sustainable Food Processing group in the Department of Health Science and Technology uses a combined approach of emerging food safety concepts, novel protein processing, sustainability assessment and biowaste processing with black soldier fly larvae to target fundamental challenges in food science and society. Our research lies at the interface of biological systems and engineering. With our partners at the Department of Sanitation, Water and Solid Waste for Development (Sandec) at Eawag, ETH Food Physics and Rheology Group, and the Singapore-ETH Centre we are recruiting as soon as possible or by mutual agreement a doctoral student on physical properties in black soldier fly larvae processing.
