How to use the forum
Dear all,
The forum is free to use for all members and all members can see all posts. It gives the possibility to have civilized discussions on a broad range of topics including but certainly not restricted to: experimental design, statistics, protocols, best practices, encountered problems, …
Using the forum is quite easy but some simple rules have to be followed
To start a discussion or ask a question:
1) Go to the appropriate forum. It is possible multiple fora may be applicable, but you have to choose one.
2) click on “new discussion
3) The system will ask you for a title, ensure this title is as informative as possible for example: NOT “how to feed insect larvae to fish” but “how to feed Tenebrio larvae in a rainbow trout experiment”.
4) Similar as the title, try to make your explanation as complete and informative as possible. You have the option to attach a document if something is difficult to describe.
5) Use some tags so it is easy to filter in the future for relevant discussions.
6) You can click the ‘notify me of new replies’, it is common courtesy to at least follow up on the discussion you start.
If you have any issues or questions regarding the forum you can post them below.
Best regards,
The editors
